Got a question? Check this FAQ.

Can I use N₁₀ on my iPhone or iPad? Is there a Windows or Linux version?

N₁₀ is designed for use on a Mac. We currently don’t have a version of N₁₀ for mobile devices or for PCs with other operating systems.

Do you offer a trial version?

Currently we don’t offer a trial version. N₁₀ is a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store. If you try it and decide it’s not for you, you can easily request a refund from Apple.

Can I buy N₁₀ without using the App Store?

At this time, N₁₀ is only available on the Mac App Store.

What if I want my session to run for a length of time that’s not covered by the built-in options?

N₁₀ offers a handful of session times ranging from 10 minutes to 2 hours. The options are designed to reduce the cognitive overhead of estimation and to encourage short, focused sessions.

If you need to focus for more than 2 hours, we suggest splitting your task up into smaller sessions or taking a break from the computer for a few minutes before resuming. N₁₀ remembers your intention and restores it the next time you start a session.

Is N₁₀ compatible with Stage Manager?

Yes, you can use N₁₀ when Stage Manager is enabled on your Mac. You will always see your session regardless of the active window group.

Can I use N₁₀ on more than one computer?

Yes, you can install and use N₁₀ on any Mac that’s signed in to your App Store account.

Does N₁₀ sync my data between computers or to the cloud?

Your session history and settings are stored locally on your Mac, not synced between computers or to the cloud.

How can I back up my data?
